TEST WEEK ...started with everyone picking up a weight they have never in their life lifted before

Think about that

Think about the people all over the world becoming more efficient, moving better and becoming stronger

Literally transforming themselves

Test week is always a nice week where the focus is on seeing what you've earned

The best thing about weights is that 100kg is 100kg

It either goes

Or it doesn't

It's black and white

Training means many things to many people

Test week is like smelling the roses that grew from the seeds you have planted and nourished

Physical Alchemy is some cool shit

Well done to everyone over the last while, and congrats on seeing the progress today

We know how important culture and expectation is as a determining factor for progress

Programming for progress is one thing

But the magic is created where soft skills meet the science

Should be called 'The Progress Studio'.. But that just doesn't have the same ring to it I guess? 😂

I've trained with weights on and off for about 8 years in all sorts of commercial gyms, in many countries. Ive only made any proper progress with serious goals in the last 6 months.
I started with @themovementstudio.ie in July this year.. hit my first chin up in September, followed by 4 chin ups in November, then 2 pull ups also in November and now I'll be aiming for that elusive Muscle Up 😏💪 All I'm saying is, its worth investing your time and money into a coach and a who;
A. Gives a shit,
B. Gives you shit, and
C. Knows his shit. 😂
Basically. Its that simple.
Just some for thought seeing as it's coming up to the January madness.
If you're serious about a fitness goal, and feel like you're running circles, maybe switch out the nights out for a decent Personal Trainer/Coach. Jus sayin 😜

We've got our people covered for Christmas.

First, on 22nd we'll be having drinks in The Terenure Inn for anyone who wants to join us. Saving our members proper party til the new year

For Christmas, you may want to laze, chill, and become one with the couch [we may want to, too] BUT you got another option for the inevitable moment where you realise you have enough of the food, the chill, the people lol

So,
26th we have a Post-Chrimbo Limber to get you moving again. We'll wake up your body nicely with some good movement before a workout and then finish with more limbering

The day after - now that your body has shook off the dust- we'll get a proper strength session in. Some Full Body work

On the 28th we will continue on with Strength and add some Mobility into things

Every Saturday over the festive period will be as awesome as always - Straight Arm Strong 9am & Handstands+Coffee 10.15am

New Years Eve we will get an evening session in, have a chat and a chill after for those who want to

Wednesday 2nd we'll have our typical Upper Body Strength+Mobility class

Throughout the whole period we just want to stay in touch, move, have fun, coffee, and be around people

We always figure it's easiest to enjoy your Christmas and not dread 'getting back into things' in January if you don't drop your routine too much

SO, our advice.... Take a break, but we're here if you need to move, need the headspace or the coffee :) We'll follow with some news for the first weekend of January and exciting new classes happening in January, sign up to our Newsletter to stay up to date [in bio]

If you're interested in joining in January please don't wait to get in touch. We don't take big bulks of new members because we're not a big gym. We're a studio. We look after our people. One by one. The way it should be. So get in touch and we'll guide you through our ethical trial process, and not bully you into feeling like you HAVE to join a gym after Christmas feasting.
